Hi all, I’m looking for some dating advice. I’m a 30-something single mum with a young child, after a long term relationship ended (mutual). Everything is sorted now financially, work wise and arrangements for childcare so I feel I have some headspace to focus on me. Given how crazy the world is right now I’m not sure it’s even worth trying to date. Meeting someone on a bar by chance is definitely out now though! As is the chance of me meeting someone at the gym ha. So I thought I’d dip my toe in online dating and see how it goes. Anyone know any good sites for single mums? I’ve heard bad things about the free ones but then if I buy a membership I’d rather know it’ll be worth it.

Online dating is 50/50 as there are a lot of fake profiles and married people on there, but it is good for a confidence boost to build your confidence up ready for the real world,I don’t take it too seriously tho just nice to have a conversation with another single person, just be careful as people can be whoever they want to be in a message.
