    Morning

just reading up on what to do if the need comes to self isolate and the governments advice. I just don’t see how I could self isolate, single mum two children- does anyone else worry about this. Who would care for my sick children if I am sick ? Obviously we don’t know how bad it would be but self isolation for me is just a no go as I have to care for my children?

I’m assuming that if I get sick, my son will also be infected/a carrier. So if either of us gets ill, we’ll isolate together.

If my son was sick, my company wouldn’t want me within a country mile of the office at the moment.

No I agree I am not worried about work to be honest it was just the logistics of if we all have Coronavirus and then one of us is very ill – asthma etc and we are then separated. Maybe I am overthinking it but it does cross my mind when you are a single parent not much family etc. I wouldn’t ask friends to step in as that is too much to ask.

This situation is getting worse when you infected to virus.

    I can’t even imagine it!

Being a single parent is really tough

I’m really worried too, I just hope I get it mildly and then I can treat my son.  I work for a great company how allow us to work from home but I am so worried what will happen if I’m poorly.  What a nightmare, I’m sick of dumb people thinking “oh it’s just the flu….”

Myself and four children are self isolating… My eldest son got poorly last Friday with a high temp and very swollen glands.. He’s been given antibiotics but doctor wouldn’t see him.

I’ve not started with a fever and sore throat head ache just feeling generally unwell..

I have no idea how we are gonna get through 14 days of this.. I have 3 teenagers and a 7 Yr old who also thinks he’s a teenager haha… I feel isolated as it is before all of this but knowing the kids can’t even go to school and socialise is worrying..

Just looking for some hope and support and any ideas of how to keep our moods up and positive 😊
