    Hi,

My daughter stays with me and her half-sister at my house a lot. Yesterday, her half-sister at her mum’s house (where she resides mainly) has got a temp so they are isolating (14days). Do myself and my daughter (lives with me) also isolate? We both have sore throats and only just had contact.

    Thank you.

    Hi PJH909,

Many single parents will share your worries about the impact of coronavirus on their families but unfortunately we can’t provide medical advice on this forum or on the Gingerbread helpline. If you need medical advice you can:

Read more about the symptoms of coronavirus and how to avoid it on the NHS website.

If you are worried you have symptoms you can use the NHS 111 online service to seek help and further advice.

To protect yourself and others, do not go to a GP, pharmacy or hospital if you have coronavirus symptoms.

    Wishing you all the best,

    Sue
