Hi guys hope you are all well. Are we all set for christmas? Im not i havent bought anythin for anyone well i have for my son but i find i get limited time to do anything. I have Wednesday and sat n sun off but cant take my son round shops to get gifts. When i work and finish lunchtime i have to get home handy. I always have washing or cleaning to do or general shopping anyway and im so tired i really dont wanna walk round shops aimlessly. I havent even bought all my cards, have some from last year though so half way there

I would rather not receive anything so i dont have to buy anyone anything. Been generous to the max every birthday and christmas time to reign it in and focus on my son. He has his present i bought it in sale last year and few little bits. He’s only 1 so doesn’t understand it all and i bought him lots for his birthday and most he not interested in

Just wandering how you are all getting on. I find it stresses me at times thinking about it

I’m doing ok, not finished but getting there.

Son is at that too old for toys, too young for clothes stage, so he’s getting Nintendo game, Rubik’s cube, book, chess set (his request), chocolate, a few funny little bits.

I have Sunday on my own to get anything else, and do the wrapping. Feeling a bit rushed but could be worse. We both finish 1pm next Friday.

I love Xmas   😍. Just the lack of rushing works for me.

Not really able to carry a lot with the buggy. Plus i just need a few hours on my own not worrying about his dinner or nappy changes. Isnt easy with a 1 year old and i need some boot space too.

Im not depressed just dont see the value in chirstmas apart from for my son. Adults have everything they need. Gifts are for children

Well we all find some things easy and some things not so. I take my son round the shops for few bits or to get out but not for chirstmas shopping. I have to get all in one go so wont all fit on the buggy and trying to get though even a card shop with a buggy at this time of year is horrible

I have my tree up its not about the spirit its just a recognisation that i dont have lot of time to myself. I am going in the week while my Mum has him
