Hi, sorry I’m new to all of this. I need some advice. Do child maintenance payments cover childcare such as breakfast clubs, after school clubs and holiday clubs? My ex pays me £28 a week yet on the days he uses the clubs amounts to £76.50, he is refusing to pay for childcare as he says I should take it out of the child maintenance payments, which don’t even cover it! What can I do, I’m getting into debt paying for his childcare bills. Thanks

My understanding is, if he is using the clubs as childcare during the time he has the children he should pay for that childcare.
I’d get some professional advise. Maintenance is to provide everyday living expenses food, clothes and towards a home for your child.
