I have been paying my ex child maintenance for the last 3 years or so via the system.

I had a yearly review a couple of months ago where my gross earnings were shown as much higher than on my P60.

I have spoken to cm about this and I don’t get a definitive answer and am just told that is the way it is and if there is 25% difference they will look at it….

It would equate to me paying around £50 extra per month.

I have entered my correct salary on the gov website and it is about right.

I am at my wits end what to do??

    hi,

yes they like to use their 25% rule. check the amount CMS put you down as earning, compare with your latest earnings. do you have permanent job? if your income is down 25% then you should be allowed to send them evidence with payslips etc and they should be re-calculating your maintenance.

Yes they do….I have checked what Cms put me down as earring and that is the thing as they have got a figure around 4 k more than my P60.

Yes I do have a permanent paye job.
