Hi I’m new to this and have just  come on looking some advice.

I am primary carer to my 6 year old son there is a child contact order in place where he stays with his father sat until sunday at 6pm.

He lost his job recently in last 2 months and behaviour has become iratic. Firstly he refused to allow me to pick my son up and held onto him for 3 days as I was late for pick up half an hour (I gave him notice I would be late)

Secondly during covid 19 issues he has stated he wants our son permanently to stay with him as he is not happy that my partner is living with me. I am self isolating with my family we are all well and no other contact with other people. Tonight I went to collect my son and he refused to give him back and he was keeping him for the foreseeable future. The police cant return him despite there being a court order in place , solicitors and courts are very difficult to get in contact with and I have spoken to social services as sons father has history of violence non molestation orders and been in jail so my concern is he keeps our son for several months my sons welfare will be at risk. He only has 1 overnight stay which was agreed through court.

Any suggestions what I can do ?

    Thank you
