I’m just having a bit of a worry about tax credits.  I get some working tax for my children and then childcare as we’ve used wrap around this year.  However since lockdown started the child care stopped.  I’m still being paid as we didn’t know how long this would last.  I also paid in arrears so lockdown was March and I paid in April the balance.  Anyway has anyone else had thoughts on this and should I be ringing tax credits to stop the child care element.  I’m worried about paying back.  I always end up paying back.  I have saved what I think is the child care element but the paper work is never that clear.  I would be stopping my eldest anyway from July as she goes to secondary and no child care. I’m also awaiting a new DLA claim as my eldest is newly diagnosed with ASD and I know this also uplifts tax credits so was waiting for that to come through before I update.
