After being separated for the past year my ex has decided she wants to study psychology at uni and arranged for a private nursery for my 1 and 2 year old girls Without consulting me whatsoever and now want me to pay towards the cost..I’m just getting by financially as it is but don’t see why I should pay for her to (play) Persue a new career when she’s already trained in hairdressing am I wrong and where do I stand please?

Personally, I think if it’s on her time (when she’s scheduled) to have the children and you pay maintenance you shouldn’t and don’t need to provide any money towards childcare.
I doubt she’d pay towards care if you had an evening class?
It’s  sad she didn’t consult you to see if you could help out, but feels it’s ok to send you a bill.

This is from a mum who has no help at all from the father of my child, who is also retraining to provide for my child. Woman like this give people like me a bad stereotypical name 😉
