Will courts reject applications. If I put in an application to alter our current child arrangements order which was done just over a year and a half ago  are they like to reject my application.

What are the reason applications get rejected?

    Hi Bambi-11

I’m Michelle one of the Moderators here.  It sounds like you may need professional advice with the questions that you’re asking.  You could get in touch with the Single Parents helpline, and they’ll be able to guide you or signpost you to services that can answer your queries:

    Gingerbread Single Parent Helpline – Freephone 0808 802 0925

    Opening hours:  Mon 10 – 6, Tues 10- 4, Wed 10 – 1 & 5 – 7, Thurs 10 – 4, Fri 10 – 4  They can be busy so callers can expect to wait up to 20 minutes before the call is answered

    I hop that helps

    Kind regards

can you pls tell for what reasons your making the court application? what are the issues?

in general courts can reject applications, depending on reasons. e.g they can easily reject an application made by a parent wanting 1 extra night with their child, because that seems petty. They do not like to micro-manage parents and expect them to be reasonable and flexible with arrangements.
