Took kids camping this summer but it felt lonely for all of us on an evening.

I can see there’s a fabulous single parent festival in Dundee but I’m not sure I want to travel that far.

Wondered if there are any other such groups that go camping?

I took the children to a caravan site in July and my kids had a great time as the made lots of friends. Whereas I was pretty much Billy no mates as I seemed to be the only single dad there. I didn’t notice any other single parents.

I would love to know this too. Im desperate to take my girls camping but dreading the thought of sitting out in the evening alone while they sleep and hearing everyone else chatting and happy.

@<span style=”background-color: #f9fbfd; color: #1a1919; font-family: Lato, sans-serif;”>ril06 You should try taking out time to take the kids out to such events and while they are having fun you can have some fresh air too and who knows you might just find happiness there, I do try to encourage people to give love a trial once again your best partner might just be in the park sitting lonely like you are doing up there too….Love waits</span>

I can so relate to some of the comments. It is so hard going on your own. I only have one child too and he often feels lonely too- feels exhausting trying to find company all the time and just feeling lonely when others are in groups and seem to be having a ball. I’m on a mission to find some singles camping adventures for next year. Take care all. X
