I took the children to a caravan site in July and my kids had a great time as the made lots of friends. Whereas I was pretty much Billy no mates as I seemed to be the only single dad there. I didn’t notice any other single parents.

I can so relate to some of the comments. It is so hard going on your own. I only have one child too and he often feels lonely too- feels exhausting trying to find company all the time and just feeling lonely when others are in groups and seem to be having a ball. I’m on a mission to find some singles camping adventures for next year. Take care all. X
