am a single mother of 5 beautiful children, I sadly lost my eldest son in 2011 when he was 14 years old,  not by illness or accident,  but by murder.  am struggling massively, would love to speak with people who are in the same or similar  situation as me, support is hard to find in my situation

MH, I am so sorry for your.loss. I can’t even begin to know how you feel.

Have you tried talking to Cruse?   My ex lost a daughter a little older than your boy, and I know they were of some comfort to him. x

I cant even begin to understand your loss, no parent should ever lose a child.

An organisation that might be worth Googling is:

SAMM – Support After Murder & Manslaughter

    All the best

    Hi Mummyhurting5

Thank you for making a post on the forum.  I am glad you have received some responses from other parents and they have made some worthwhile signposts.  Another agency you could try is the child bereavement trust.  They may be able to offer you some further support.  I wish you all the best, Justine
