Hello and seasons greeting to all you single parents busy taking care of your kids and keeping a roof over your heads…

I have been alone now for over four years and have decided it’s time to start thinking about moving on to good times. There are of course great times with my 9 year old daughter. She is a joy and a ray of sunshine, and lives with my by court order……a situation many of you guys will be familiar with…..the nasty handovers with your ex, you sticking to the schedule and the other party doing as they choose……there are always good reasons why our children actually live both us…..the UK courts are not silly…..and I am sure we all are reminded of this on the occasions when these handovers happen.

So, enough of that. Our ex has turned out to be an idiot…….good…..Let’s all look to the future. I put on my profile some time ago –

“Decent, considerate, educated father of two beautiful kids would love to hear from a West Midlands lady that is similar.”

    Have a great day everybody!

    John.

Hi John, seasons greetings, its a very strange Christmas this year . Couldn’t agree with you more, I am looking to the future, trying not to look back. I feel I have spent too long on my X, I cared more about the marriage more than him. As long as the girls are OK, they are quite independent now, so I feel that it’s time to find some time for myself now. Hopefully it won’t be long till we have some normality!! Julie

Sorry Julie, just saw your response. I am not good at navigating around this site.
I am still single and ready to rebuild a life. Please feel free to get in touch. John
