You are doing all that you can by contacting CMS to investigate the matter. But until they have finished investigating I do not believe there is any other quick way to collect payments from him. Most of the processes are legnthy and even more so now with a lockdown in place. It may be worth contacting him directly if you are able to and just politely asking if there is an issue with payments etc. If he doesnt respond or his response is that he is currently unemployed and therefore unable to make payments then you should contact your local benefits office to seek assitance if you are struggling financially. There are also many charitt organisations that may be able to assist you if you are struggling and it may be worth contacting your local citizens advice centre.
