What happens if something breaks the forum user guidelines?

Gingerbread has the discretion to temporarily or permanently suspend forum user accounts if behaviour breaks these guidelines.

This might include removing posts, issuing a written warning, temporary suspension and/or a permanent ban from the forum.

We will treat each situation on a case by case basis and will communicate our reasons for withdrawing access to the forum, either on a temporary or permanent basis.

What does it mean if a word is blocked out in a post?

Our forum blocks out certain words in posts, including extreme swearing and discriminatory language. We aim to capture all extreme or discriminatory language this way, but sometimes words will slip through. We will continually review this to help make the forum a safe, welcoming and respectful environment for all users.
