Money for Teenage Parents Leaving Care

For the first time, we are offering the opportunity to book a variation to the more general course, entitled Money for Teenage Parents Leaving Care.

This course has been developed for professionals working with pregnant teenagers and young parents who are leaving care, and aims to clarify state benefits entitlements for under 18s and over 18s both before and after the birth of a child, and will provide guidance on how to challenge bad practice.

The course also aims to provide participants with an understanding of discrimination principles, and give an insight into how benefits interact with work and earnings,training, and continuing in education.

You can book this course on a commission only basis, and again, we can train up to 20 people at a time.

The cost for a commissioned course is £1,450 + VAT & trainer expenses.
