Single parents need a partnership approach, not threats of sanctions. The Government is suggesting that single parents with children as young as three should be asked to look for work. We think that this is the wrong approach, that parents should have a choice, and need support not sanctions. Please tell us your views on this, by emailing policy@gingerbread.org.uk. Or you can write to your MP to express your concerns at Write To Them
