Payroll giving

UK taxpayers can make a regular tax-free gift to Gingerbread every pay day. You can give as much or as little as you like and can cancel at any time.

Regular monthly gifts help Gingerbread to plan our work, so are very valuable to us.

If you pay tax at the basic rate, giving £10 a month will only cost you £7.81 because you save £2.19 tax. If you pay tax at the higher rate, giving £10 will only cost you £6.

Your finance or human resources department can advise if a scheme is already in place. If there is, simply fill out a form with your chosen amount and Gingerbread’s name.

Otherwise please print out a Gingerbread payroll giving form (attached below), fill it in and simply hand it to your HR department.

You can support more than one charity and you can also choose to give anonymously if you prefer, ask your employer for more details.
