Single parents: you're brilliant

That's right, we think single parents do a brilliant job. And we want to tell people about it.

We're going to the places we know single parents need to be, to give them a boost and tell them to get involved in Gingerbread.

Read our campaign press release here, and get involved! You can print off a bright and bold poster here to put up in your home, workplace or cafe (or wherever you think is best!), and if you know a single parent you think deserves an email telling them how brilliant they are, simply click here to send one. And why not get involved in our campaign forum, and share your own experiences with other single parents....

Brilliant Campaign!! I'm a single parent to two, daughter 13 and son who's 1, it's hard sometimes and lonely but we need to keep strong and positive, we are the best! Single parents rule yeeeeeaahhhhhhhh xx

I am a 'brilliant' single mother, surviving two teenagers. Just entering my 3rd year at university reading Sociology. I intend to focus on single mothers and the barriers they face at university for my dissertation.... I am sure it will be very interesting... and hopefully inform the academic world just how 'brilliant' we are :)

i received an unexpected surprise this mornng from gingerbread...50.00 worth of vouchers for completing an online survey......gobsmacked! but what welcome boost....having awful time lately with family stress and housing probs etc..feeling no one cares lol....can now buy little one something nice for her birthday...THANK YOU GINGERBREAD ....you do a brill job x

To all the single mothers and fathers we all do what comes natural and look after our much loved children, I am a single parent my son is Autistic and a teenager, My other son as been going through leukaemia, They dad only thinks of is self no help at all just makes me stronger, Ive survived cancer twice 8years ago, Keep going and be strong each day always smile with your children and always remember we are all fantastic parents much love x x x x
